You have been requested to complete a patient experience survey. It should take less than 10 minutes to complete. The purpose of this survey is to identify areas for improvement and focus on professional development. We appreciate your participation.
We require the name of your anaesthetist and the date of surgery so that the information is managed and forwarded correctly. Your feedback will remain anonymous.
Your anaesthetist is responsible for your safety and comfort during and immediately after your surgery. This is done by:
- Considering your medical history before the operation and ensuring it is okay for you to have surgery;
- Staying with you all the time, and keeping an eye on your breathing, the action of your heart, and your hydration during the procedure;
- Giving you medication to control pain and keep your body relaxed.
